The REC CAP (Recovery Capital) program is our prison reentry program. Our Forensic Peer Support Specialists assist individuals incarcerated at Lancaster County Prison. We help them prepare for release, then work with them in the community to build recovery capital.

What is recovery capital?

RECovery CAPital is the balance of internal and external resources that can be applied to develop and maintain stability and wellness in recovery from Substance Use Disorder. Our peer support specialists use their lived experience to assist with coaching and motivation, system navigation, and obtaining resources necessary for stabilization and wellness.
