The program started during the lockdown portion of the COVID-19 pandemic. While watching the news about
toilet paper shortages, mask shortages, and supply chain issues, we wondered how the recovery community
was dealing with those issues and how we could help. Our answer is the Care Kit Program. We had string bags
printed with our logo and we began filling them with hygiene products. Currently we deliver Care Kits to all the
recovery houses in Lancaster County.

dental floss, nail clippers, lotion, combs/brushes, washcloths, socks, cotton balls, Q-tips, pens, notebooks, bus
passes, scarves, hats, gloves, and personal notes/cards of support.
